  • General overview imagery: Helpful for showing scale and layout.
  • Flexible session use: One visit can often cover multiple image needs.

How booking works

  1. Send the job details: Tell me the location, type of property or site, and what you need captured.
  2. I check feasibility: I review access, timing, weather and likely flight suitability.
  3. We confirm the booking: I confirm price, timing and expected output.
  4. Images delivered: Best files supplied by Google Drive within the agreed timeframe.

Before the session

  • Send the location clearly: Address, postcode, or a pinned map point.
  • Say what matters most: Roof issue, property listing, land overview, or marketing content.
  • Confirm access: Let me know if there are gates, shared areas, neighbours, livestock, or anything awkward nearby.
  • Tell me what changed: Storm damage, a new problem, a recent repair, or a deadline can all help shape the visit.
  • Expect weather and legality checks: Some jobs may need rescheduling if the conditions or location are not safe or legal.

Typical jobs I get asked for

  • Roof and chimney checks
  • Estate agent exterior images
  • Farm and land overview shots
  • Business frontages for websites and listings
  • Promotional images for social media

What to expect

  • Clear communication: I’ll explain what is possible before the session.
  • Practical image planning: Focused on useful, relevant shots.
  • Honest limits: If the shot is unsafe or illegal, I won’t attempt it.
  • Simple delivery: Files sent in a straightforward format you can use.

Booking notes

  • Weather matters: Wind, rain and low light can affect flight and image quality.
  • Access matters: Some sites look simple on paper but are not safe to fly.
  • Legal limits apply: CAA and site restrictions can change what is possible.
  • Best results come from planning: A quick message beforehand helps a lot.

CAA & Legal Limits

All drone work follows UK Civil Aviation Authority rules to ensure safety, legality and privacy. Some requests may not be possible depending on location, nearby people, airspace or conditions.

Legal Restrictions (UK Law)

  • No flying over crowds: Flights cannot take place over large groups of people.
  • Distance from uninvolved people: Must not endanger others.
  • Maximum altitude: 120m (400ft) above ground level.
  • Visual line of sight: Drone must always remain visible to the pilot.
  • Restricted airspace: Airports, military zones and restricted areas require permission.
  • Privacy laws: No filming into private spaces without valid reason or consent.

Drone-Specific Limitations

  • Wind resistance: Strong wind can limit safe operation.
  • Flight time: Battery life varies by conditions and task.
  • Lighting conditions: Low light reduces image quality and safe operation.
  • Signal interference: Buildings, trees and obstacles can reduce signal strength.
  • Positioning limits: Some angles or shots may not be safely achievable.
  • Final decision: Flights will not proceed if conditions exceed safe or legal limits.
